The Seventh Edition of the Carpathian Basin Conference on Environmental Science
Carpathian Basin Conference on Environmental Science will be organised for the seventh time by the Department of Environmental Sciences of the Faculty of Sciences and Arts of the Sapientia University. This year's edition will take place from March 24 to 27, 2011 in Cluj.
Conference aim and objectives: To facilitate the presentation of environmental science research results in the Carpathian Basin. The conference offers an opportunity to discuss theoretical and methodological issues, exchange views and perspectives of the environment and will also provide opportunities for researchers, teachers, students and graduate students to build professional relationships and cooperation.
The official language of the conference: Hungarian and English.
Main areas of the conference: environmental physics, environmental chemistry, environmental biology, environmental geography, environmental geology, architecture and environment, environmental policy and EU regulations, environmental impacts on health, environmental education, alternative energy, agri-environmental science and nuclear accident Chernobyl - 25 years ahead.
Conference location: Cluj-Napoca, the main building of the Sapientia University, Matthias Corvinus no. 4.

The fees include the cost of publications, conference materials, refreshments, a reception and a dinner. For companions the reception, the dinner and a trip.
Deadlines:
- Registration form submission: October 25, 2010.
- Abstract submission: December 1, 2010.
- Announcement of accepted abstracts: January 15, 2011.
- Lectures submission: February 15, 2011.
Abstracts: Please submit abstracts in both Hungarian and English in a Word file. The distance between rows is one, font is Times New Roman, size 12 pt (maximum 250 words). The title is bold, after a blank line below the name, address and work, followed by e-mail address of the authors. Keywords will be written in a new row (max. 5 keywords).
Publication: Proceedings will be published in a volume of the Conference.
