The second invited speaker in the World travelers session is Vörös Lajos, professor at the Balaton Limnological Institute (Tihany, Hungary). The algologist participated at an expedition of 4000 km from Astana to the Lake Aral seeking for the water.

This year the 16th edition of the Carpathian Basin Conference for Environmental Science will be organised at Budapest, Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem, on 1-4th of April.
