Geomorphologic and bio-geographic field trip

We used the warm spring days for keeping open-air practice.

The closer and wider surroundings of Cluj-Napoca are very suitable for demonstrating and observing all what we have studied during the lectures. The students can easily understand the causes starting different processes and the connections between the different facts. We visited the sandstone formations known as The Garden of the Dragons that is to be found near Jibau and some pastures with trees on them. Then we walked to the place called Fanate near Cluj that is characterized by land-slides and is to be found in the Valea Calda valley then to the Pokolkoz at the left side of the Chinteni valley.
