An extraordinary exhibition

An extraordinary exhibition where opened, in the downtown of Odorheiu Secuiesc, initiated by the Vulticulus Geographical Society.

In the creation and preparation of the exhibition, two teachers of our department Ferenc Wanek and Attila Toth contributed. The topic of the exposure where fossils from Odorhei region, Transylvania (fish and snake imprints, cephalopods, crustaceans, mammoth tusk and molars, snails, ursus spelaeus, plant leaves imprint, etc), from János Bányai colection, found in the Haáz Rezső Museum, Odorheiu Secuiesc.

Academic Evenings with Zoltán Unger, PhD

 

The next lecture in the Academic Evenings series will take place on Tuesday, October 28, at 6:00 PM, in room A105 (4 Tordai Street). The lecture entitled The Role of Membrane Polarization in the Formation of Concretions will be held by Zoltán Unger, PhD.

The summer experiences of a master's student

Czira Panna, a second-year master's student, participated in the Erasmus+ mobility program within the summer internship program at the Balaton Limnological Research Institute. The institute is located in Hungary, in Tihany, on the northern shore of Lake Balaton. The program lasted for four weeks and mainly involved scientific tasks, including laboratory work and data management.
