Colleagues from the University of Szeged visited our Department
In the second week of the new academic year we were visited by Ördög Attila, PhD, and Poór Péter, PhD, two biologists from the Plant Biology Department of the University of Szeged, Hungary.
They held scientific presentations on the themes of phyto(bio)remediation and the effects of salinity stress on plants. The presentations were attended by the 2nd and 3rd year students, as well as the master’s students.
Our guests visited the „Alexandru Borza” Botanical Garden. They have also participated to a trip with students organized in Rimetea, where they climbed the peaks of the Szekler’s Stone.
