Fieldtrip and teambuilding at Sandulesti, 8-10 November 2013

The sunny weekend between 8-10 November offered a great opportunity to organize our traditional initiating and teambuilding fieldtrip for students of the Environmental Science Department. The aim of this trip is to provide an occasion to our fresh underclass students to meet their colleagues and teachers in a more informal environment.

As usual, the base camp was at Sandulesti, in the neighbourhood of the Cheile Turzii nature reserve. Friday, after the participants’ arrival to the camp, the campfire proved to be a good opportunity for socializing with each other. The next day was dedicated for a long trip along the Cheile Turzii nature reserve and protected area and ended with a hot meal and good conversations as a reward for the tired team. The event ended with a visit to the Turda Salt Mine Sunday, after which the students and teachers returned to Cluj.
