Students at the XXI. International Conference of Chemistry

Between the 23rd and 27th of September the Hungarian Technical Scientific Society of Transylvania organized the 21st International Conference on Chemistry in Csíksomlyó, Romania.

The Department of Environmental Science was represented by three students (Molnár Sipos Enikő 2nd year, Lakatos Ibolya and Rápó Eszter 3rd year) and their supervisor, assistant professor dr. Szende Tonk. Lakatos Ibolya and Rápó Eszter won one of the Hungarian Chemical Society's awards (third place) in the student poster section with their poster entitled Preliminary Results Regarding the Response of Some Aquatic Plants to EriochromeBlack T. Congratulations and much success in the future!

Academic Evenings with Zoltán Unger, PhD

 

The next lecture in the Academic Evenings series will take place on Tuesday, October 28, at 6:00 PM, in room A105 (4 Tordai Street). The lecture entitled The Role of Membrane Polarization in the Formation of Concretions will be held by Zoltán Unger, PhD.

The summer experiences of a master's student

Czira Panna, a second-year master's student, participated in the Erasmus+ mobility program within the summer internship program at the Balaton Limnological Research Institute. The institute is located in Hungary, in Tihany, on the northern shore of Lake Balaton. The program lasted for four weeks and mainly involved scientific tasks, including laboratory work and data management.
