Study trip to the Făget at the beginning of the new academic year
After the first, stressful weak spent with different kinds of administrative tasks, the students of the first year, the freshmen of our university, participated at a relaxing trip, climbing up the hills and descending into the valleys in the Făget forest.
First we climbed up on the ridge of the Galișer and enjoyed the beautiful view of the Gârbău Hill, meanwhile we studied the ants and picked up some mushrooms. After a short rest we descended into the valley of the Pleșca stream. There we began to look for fossils. Then we climbed to the Sinitău peak and through abrupt slopes and narrow valleys finally we reached the stream of Gârbău and turned back to Cluj. To be continued…
