The Ninth Edition of the Conference “Environmental Science in the Carpathian Basin”

This year the Ninth Edition of the Conference “Environmental Science in the Carpathian Basin” organized by the University of Miskolc in cooperation with the Sapientia University took place on 13–15 June. More than 120 participants from 5 countries (Hungary, Ukraine, Slovakia, Serbia and Romania) met together at Miskolc (Hungary).

There were presented 6 plenary lectures, and 80 presentations in 10 sections and there were exhibited more than 30 posters. The conference was a remarkable occasion for sharing the new scientific results of the researches realized at the Environmental Science Department from Cluj-Napoca and the Bioengineering Department from Miercurea-Ciuc. The conference ended with a study tour.

Third-year students at a study programme at Budapest

At the end of February (19-24), third-year students of the Environmental Science Department visited Budapest as part of the Makovecz Programme. The main organiser of the study trip was Professor Tamás Weiszburg.

19th Edition of the Environmental Science Conference in the Carpathian Basin

This year the conference on environmental sciences will be held in Debrecen (Hungary), at the Research Centre for Nuclear Sciences on April, 3-5th, 2024. The call is available for professors, researchers, students and PhD students, as well.
