The new book of our colleague has been published

The book Data Processing with R. Applications in the Environmental Sciences has been recently published by Scientia. The author is our colleague, Andreea R. Zsigmond, PhD.

After two years of outage, we organised again the field trip in Greece, at the vicinity of Mount Olimp. The students participated at an intensive programme. They found many plant and animal species typical to the mediterranean climate, on land and in the seawater. They have also admired the change of the flora according to the altitude untill they reached peaks above 2800 m.

Autumn hike in the Cheile Tureni

Together with the students, we went through the well-developed Cheile Tureni Natura 2000 nature reserve, where we discovered the morphological and environmental characteristics of the area. The terrain was not unobstructed but if it had been easy it would not have been so exciting.
